RIYADH, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) — Chinese Vice President Han Zheng and Saudi Arabian Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud met here on Wednesday and pledged to further develop bilateral ties and cooperation.
Han Zheng noted that Saudi Arabia is a comprehensive strategic partner of China and that Beijing has always placed Riyadh in an important position in its diplomacy.
According to him, in the 35 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, especially since Xi Jinping's successful visit to Saudi Arabia in 2022, China-Saudi relations have achieved new positive progress.
Han Zheng said China will make greater contributions to global development through new achievements in its modernization, which will provide valuable opportunities for the future development of China-Saudi relations.
