BEIJING, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) — Cai Qi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and a member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, said it is necessary to further combat formalism in order to ease the burden on workers at the grassroots level.
Cai Qi made the announcement on Tuesday at a meeting dedicated to eliminating the practice of formalism to reduce the workload of cadres at the grassroots level.
The member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee also called for unwavering implementation of the Eight-Point Rules of the CPC Central Committee and consistent and long-term efforts to improve the Party's style so as to firmly guarantee the successful completion of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025) and a good start to the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030).
