Moscow, October 29 (Xinhua) — Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son-hui discussed cooperation and strengthening the two countries' friendship during a meeting, Dmitry Peskov, the Russian leader's press secretary, told reporters in response to a question from TASS.
"We discussed, in fact, all issues related to plans for the further development and strengthening of our friendship, our partnership, our alliance," the Kremlin spokesman noted.
At a meeting with North Korea's Foreign Minister in the Kremlin on Monday, the Russian president noted that he had previously discussed the prospects for developing Russian-Korean relations with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in Beijing and added that everything was proceeding according to plan. Choi Song-hui reported that Pyongyang noted the warm atmosphere during the talks in the Chinese capital.
