Tashkent, October 28 (Xinhua) — Uzbekistan will enhance its geological sector's potential by leveraging advanced competencies, the Uzbek leader's press service announced on Monday.
"President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation on the implementation of advanced international practices and expertise in the field of geology," the statement said.
One of the priority tasks was identified as the development of the national geological system at a modern scientific and technological level, the expansion of the mineral resource base, and ensuring the deep processing of minerals.
"Global experience shows that even in hard-to-reach areas, new deposits can be identified using artificial intelligence. In this area, particular importance is attached to expanding regional geological exploration research and the use of modern geophysical methods," the statement reads.
