KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 28 (Xinhua) — The 47th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) summit concluded here on Tuesday.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the summit, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, who will serve as the rotating ASEAN Chair in 2025, emphasized ASEAN's central role, stating that "we have renewed dialogue, built new bridges, and proven that the ASEAN mechanism, when guided by patience and reason, still works."
At the ceremony, the chairmanship of ASEAN passed from Malaysia to the Philippines. –0–
