RN-Yuganskneftegaz, the largest oil producing asset of Rosneft Oil Company, carried out 1,328 hydraulic fracturing operations during the month, which is 32% higher than the company's annual average.

The record number of hydraulic fracturing operations was achieved thanks to the development of corporate oilfield services, an increase in the number of hydraulic fracturing fleets, the use of a range of innovative technologies and engineering solutions, and the coordinated work of specialized services and production units.

A number of implemented technologies have made it possible to significantly – more than double – increase the starting oil flow rate in new horizontal wells.

RN-Yuganskneftegaz specialists are implementing a mobile pipeline system that significantly accelerates the hydraulic fracturing preparation process and significantly reduces labor costs and the number of specialized vehicles. The freed-up resources are being used by other hydraulic fracturing fleets.

The experience gained over the years using hydraulic fracturing at RN-Yuganskneftegaz has enabled the technology to evolve from a single operation to the most effective tool for increasing well productivity and managing reservoir development. The implemented engineering solutions are giving mature fields a second life, helping to accelerate the commissioning of new wells and achieve additional oil production.

Developing technological potential is a key element of Rosneft's strategy. The company prioritizes innovation, identifying technological leadership as a key factor in competitiveness in the oil market.
