BEIJING, Oct. 27 (Xinhua) — Wang Huning, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), on Monday called for efforts to study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee.
Wang Huning, also a member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, made the statement while speaking at a meeting of the chairman and vice chairmen of the CPPCC National Committee.
He called on CPPCC members to be guided by the spirit of the plenary session when performing their duties and actively put forward proposals and recommendations.
Wang Huning called on political consultants to ensure high-quality performance of their work this year and plan work for next year with a focus on the central tasks of the Party and the state.
As the Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee noted, CPPCC members should make proposals and make efforts to develop and subsequently implement the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030). –0–
