Vitomira Loncar is teaching a class in a classroom at the Xi'an Eurasia Institute in Shaanxi Province. Students affectionately call this energetic, blonde teacher "Grandma Vita."

Vita is a renowned Croatian playwright, actress, and producer. In 2016, after retiring, she decided to travel with her husband to distant China to write the second act of her life's play—teaching intercultural communication and project management at the Xi'an Eurasian Institute, where she became a beloved "star teacher" among students.

Outside of class, Vita shares her life in Xi'an on video platforms, showing the world a real and multifaceted China. She says Xi'an has become her second home—the city's rich culture gives her inexhaustible energy to fulfill her mission of cultural exchange.
