Tashkent, October 27 (Xinhua) — Uzbekistan's economy grew by 7.6 percent in the first nine months of 2025, the presidential press service reported on Monday.

“From January to September of this year, the country’s economy grew by 7.6 percent, which significantly exceeds forecasts,” the report says.

"Popular income increased by 18.4 percent, deposit volume by 35.3 percent, and average wages by 19.2 percent. Surveys show growing confidence among the population and businesses, expanding opportunities for employment and income growth," the press service notes.
