KUALA LUMPUR, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) — Delegations from China and the United States met here on Saturday morning for trade and economic talks.
The two sides will hold consultations on major issues in China-US trade and economic relations in line with the important consensus reached by the two heads of state during their telephone conversations this year, a Chinese Ministry of Commerce spokesman said in a statement Thursday.
The Chinese delegation is headed by He Lifeng, a member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China. –0–
