BEIJING, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) — An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted the city of Hunchun in Yanbian Korean Autonomous Prefecture (Jilin Province, northeast China) at 7:45 p.m. Beijing time on Saturday, the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC) reported.
According to CENC, the earthquake's epicenter was located at 43.08 degrees north latitude and 131.10 degrees east longitude. The hypocenter was located at a depth of 560 km.
