Moscow, October 24 /Xinhua/ — Russian Su-30 fighter jets' flights on Thursday were conducted in strict compliance with regulations and did not violate the borders of other countries, the Russian Defense Ministry stated.
"On October 23, Russian Su-30 fighter jets carried out scheduled training flights over the Kaliningrad region. The aircraft did not deviate from their flight route and did not violate the borders of other states," the department said in a statement.
On October 23, Lithuania reported a violation of its airspace by Russian Su-30 and Il-78 fighter jets. According to the Lithuanian side, the two Russian fighter jets entered Lithuanian airspace for 18 seconds, coming within approximately 700 meters.
