Moscow, October 24 (Xinhua) – Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev held telephone conversations on Friday, the Kremlin press service reported.

"The two sides confirmed their mutual commitment to further developing trade and economic ties and implementing joint projects in the energy, transport, and logistics sectors," the statement said.

In addition, during the conversation, certain aspects of regional cooperation and the international situation were touched upon.

The leaders agreed to continue contacts between the countries at various levels.
