BEIJING, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) — The Party Group of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) held a meeting on Friday to study and implement the spirit of the just-concluded Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee.
Wang Huning, member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, and Secretary of the CPPCC National Committee Party Group, chaired the meeting and delivered a speech.
During the meeting, it was noted that the Proposals of the CPC Central Committee on the development of the 15th Five-Year Program for National Economic and Social Development, adopted at the plenary session, will certainly have a significant and far-reaching impact on the work of the Party and the state.
Commending the achievements made during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), the meeting called on political advisers across the country to take the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee as an important political task, to be guided by the spirit of the plenary session in their thoughts and actions, and to comprehensively integrate the implementation of the spirit of the plenary session into the entire CPPCC work in fulfilling its duties based on the practice of the CPPCC.
The meeting also emphasized the need to fully utilize the enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity of all parties, social organizations, representatives of all ethnic groups, and various social sectors participating in the CPPCC to make active contributions to the construction of Chinese-style modernization.
