Shenzhen, October 23 (Xinhua) — The number of devices running Huawei's HarmonyOS 5 operating system exceeded 23 million as of Wednesday. On the same day, the Chinese tech giant unveiled its next-generation operating system, HarmonyOS 6.
According to Huawei CEO Yu Chengdong, the HarmonyOS 6 update has been rolled out to more than 90 devices from the first batch. The new system offers improvements in smooth operation, intelligent features, privacy protection, and interoperability.
Key features include AI-powered anti-fraud capabilities and enhanced privacy protections such as AI anti-spying technology.
