KAMPALA, October 22 (Xinhua) — At least 63 people were killed and several others injured in a major road accident in western Uganda on Wednesday, police said.

According to a police statement, the accident involving four vehicles, including two passenger buses, a Toyota Surf and a Tata truck, occurred at around 12:15 a.m. local time on the Kampala-Gulu Highway in Kiryandongo district in the west of the country. –0–
