The raspberry harvest season recently concluded at a raspberry plantation in Nanyang Township, Ganchang County, Longnan City, Gansu Province. Freshly picked raspberries, after sorting, washing, and other processing steps, are transformed into various products, such as fresh berries, preserves, and fruit wine, which are then sold to a wider market.
Since 2019, local authorities have reportedly been actively encouraging farmers to grow raspberries using the "Party Cell Cooperative Industry" development model, gradually establishing a production chain that integrates cultivation, processing, sales, agritourism, and harvesting. The small red raspberry is becoming a "golden berry," boosting village incomes and promoting rural revitalization.
