Lizu Village, located in Houzhai Subdistrict of Yiwu City, Zhejiang Province, was once known for its poverty. In 2003, Zhejiang Province launched the "One Thousand Model Villages, Ten Thousand Prosperous Villages" program. In 2004, thanks to policy incentives, Lizu Village began exploring ways to transform "green mountains and clear waters" into "countless treasures." Over 260 "agricultural innovators" arrived, and several industrial projects were launched. From farm management and children's activities to the creation of "village coffee," food streets, and hand-dyed fabric and pottery workshops, thanks to the initiative of the "agricultural innovators," many local residents joined the wave of entrepreneurship, gradually establishing thriving industries. In 2024, Lizu Village's collective income exceeded 4.6 million yuan.
