NANCHANG, Oct. 22 (Xinhua) — There are more than 10,000 virtual reality (VR) enterprises in China by the end of 2024, according to the 2025 World Conference of Virtual Reality Industry (WCVRI), which concluded Monday in Nanchang, capital of east China's Jiangxi Province.

In recent years, China has developed more than 30 national standards and led the development of nearly 10 international standards in key areas such as virtual digital humans and VR terminal equipment, thereby guiding and ensuring the standardized development of the sector.
