Bishkek, October 22 (Xinhua) — A briefing on the outcomes of the Global Women's Summit, held earlier this month in Beijing, was held in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, on Wednesday. The event was attended by staff from the Chinese Embassy in Kyrgyzstan, representatives of UN Women in Kyrgyzstan, the Women's Congress of Kyrgyzstan, and women from various circles of Kyrgyz society.
In her speech, Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Liu Jiangping spoke in detail about the fruitful results and landmark significance of the Global Women's Summit in Beijing, comprehensively highlighting China's outstanding achievements in developing women's affairs and new results of cooperation between China and Kyrgyzstan on women.
