SEOUL, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) — The Republic of Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Tuesday it will continue cooperation with Japan under the newly elected prime minister.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea said in a statement that the government will closely cooperate with the new Japanese cabinet and continue cooperation to maintain positive dynamics in relations between the two countries.
Earlier that day, Japan's parliament elected Sanae Takaichi, chairwoman of the Liberal Democratic Party, as prime minister. She became the first woman in the country's history to hold this position.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan expressed hope that the two countries will continue to work together to develop future-oriented relations, given that both sides are neighboring countries and global partners with similar positions in a rapidly changing geopolitical environment and trade order. –0–
