Six escalators will be installed at the Zvenigorodskaya station on the Rublevo-Arkhangelskaya metro line, which is currently under construction. Specialists have already begun installing the equipment. Vladimir Efimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction.

"The Zvenigorodskaya metro station on the future Rublevo-Arkhangelskaya Line is designed with two vestibules. Each will have three escalators. The escalators for the station under construction were manufactured at a factory in St. Petersburg. Its products are also used at other Moscow metro facilities. The equipment will have a service life of 50 years.

"After installation is complete, specialists will test the equipment according to regulations. The escalators will operate continuously from the main drive for 48 hours, 24 hours in each direction. Load tests will then follow. All this is necessary to confirm the electromechanical characteristics," added Maxim Gaman, CEO of Mosinzhproekt JSC.

The Zvenigorodskaya station is being built in the Khoroshevo-Mnevniki district near the intersection of Shenogina Street, Shelepikhinskoye Highway, and 1st Silikatny Proyezd. Two underground concourses will provide access to existing and upcoming residential buildings, public facilities, and public transportation stops.

The station will be decorated in monochrome tones. The main platform will be light, while the track walls will be dark. White columns will be positioned in the center, seamlessly transitioning into vaulted ceilings above the train waiting area. LED lighting with a diffused effect will highlight the architectural features of the station.
