BEIJING, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) — China maintains a consistent and clear position on resolving China-US trade and economic issues and believes that tariff and trade wars do not serve the interests of either side, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Monday.
Guo Jiakun made the remarks at a regular departmental press conference, commenting on media reports that the American side named rare earth elements, fentanyl and soybeans as the three main issues that the United States will discuss with China.
