Kabul, October 19 (Xinhua) — The Afghan Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation has signed six memorandums of understanding with leading national and international aid organizations, the ministry said in a statement released on Sunday.
According to the statement, over $1.48 million has been allocated to assist returning refugees and internally displaced families in several provinces. More than 6,947 families and 88,237 individuals will receive support.
The funds will be used to build permanent housing, provide cash assistance, food, nutritional supplements, educational and medical kits. –0–
