DHAKA, Oct. 19 (Xinhua) — The fire that broke out at the cargo terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Saturday afternoon was brought under control and flights resumed later that evening, the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism of Bangladesh said.

The fire, which started around 2:15 PM local time, was contained thanks to the prompt and coordinated efforts of the fire department and airport administration. There were no reports of casualties as a result of the incident, according to a ministry press release issued late Saturday evening.
