BANGKOK, Oct. 17 (Xinhua) — Thai Prime Minister and Home Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said on Friday that the country's new government will strengthen comprehensive cooperation with China.
A. Charnvirakul made this statement during a meeting with the Chinese Ambassador to Thailand, Zhang Jianwei.
The Prime Minister praised the dynamic development of Thai-Chinese relations and recalled that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. He stated that the new government will work to further develop bilateral relations and strengthen the friendship between the two peoples.
Zhang Jianwei, for his part, indicated that China intends to work with Thailand to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, strengthen coordination in a multilateral format, and achieve new progress in building a China-Thailand community with a shared future. –0–
