TIANJIN, Oct. 17 (Xinhua) — The 7th China International Helicopter Exhibition opened in north China's Tianjin on Thursday, with a special exhibition dedicated to low-altitude economy set up for the first time and a series of new military and civil helicopters and low-altitude aircraft expected to debut.
The four-day event, co-hosted by the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) and the People's Liberation Army Ground Forces (PLA), will feature 52 aircraft models, including helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft.
These include the Z-10, Z-19, Z-20, Z-20T and Z-8L helicopters, the KVD001 and KVD002 UAVs developed by the PLA Ground Force, the AC312E and AC311A models developed by AVIC, and the Leonardo AW139 and Airbus H135 aircraft.
In addition, AVIC will showcase the Z-20 series aircraft and AR-E series new energy aircraft using physical models and virtual reality technologies, as well as eVTOL products such as the AR-E40, AR-E300, and AR-E300A.
The PLA's participation in the exhibition includes flight demonstrations, indoor exhibitions and static displays, which mainly feature helicopters, UAVs and airborne weapons.
Since 2011, the China International Helicopter Exhibition, the only professional, national-level international helicopter exhibition in the country, has provided a platform for global helicopter manufacturers to showcase equipment, exchange technology, and promote international cooperation. -0-
