Moscow, October 15 (Xinhua) — Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday signed a law ratifying an intergovernmental agreement on military cooperation with Cuba.
The corresponding document was published on the Russian official legal information portal.
An agreement between the governments of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Cuba on military cooperation was signed in Havana and Moscow in March 2025. The State Duma and the Federation Council ratified it in early October.
As stated in the explanatory note, this agreement will provide the legal basis necessary for determining the goals, directions, and forms of bilateral military cooperation, and will also contribute to the strengthening and development of relations between the Russian Federation and Cuba in this area. –0–
