Rosneft companies organized environmental celebrations in Novokuibyshevsk and Syzran. Over 1,500 residents of the region participated in the large-scale events.
Novokuibyshevsk Oil Refinery employees held the tenth anniversary of the "Ecolife" environmental family festival. The festival offered a platform for educational recreation, socializing, and creativity. Adults and children alike tried their hand at environmental workshops, quizzes, and competitions, and participated in a geography quest. The festival featured an environmental lecture hall, a photo exhibition, and interactive areas exploring the flora and fauna of the Samara Region. At the "Ecowardrobe" area, organizers introduced guests to examples of recycling and held a workshop on creating vibrant art panels from unwanted clothing.
This year, the festival brought together environmental clubs, museums, children's libraries, and schools from Novokuibyshevsk. Young environmentalists, together with activists from the "Movement of the First," organized a site where everyone could exchange plastic bottle caps for chestnut saplings. Volunteers from the enterprise also shared information about the principles of waste separation and recycling.
The Syzran Oil Refinery hosted the FormatECO family festival for the eighth time. The city-wide celebration included workshops on making crafts from natural materials, themed photo zones, and a plastic and wastepaper collection point. Everyone was invited to participate in a quest to test their knowledge about environmental protection and recycling. An interactive paper show was organized for the youngest guests, with all the props later sent for recycling. At the end of the environmental festival, the refinery workers and children planted juniper saplings near the Nadezhda sports and fitness center.
