KHARTOUM, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) — At least seven people were killed and several others wounded on Tuesday in drone attacks on neighborhoods in Sudan's capital Khartoum and a town in the north of the country.

Eyewitnesses in the East Nile area of eastern Khartoum reported that four drones attacked the Id Babikir neighborhood early on Tuesday, killing a doctor and one of his children and wounding two other members of the same family.

Videos circulating on social media show debris from a drone that crashed into a residential building.

The paramilitary Rapid Reaction Force (RRF) launched a drone strike on the northern Sudanese town of Ad-Dabba, killing five people and injuring several others, local authorities said.
