BEIJING, Oct. 14 (Xinhua) — Chinese Vice President Han Zheng on Tuesday met with Lao Vice President Pany Yathotou, who is in Beijing to attend the Global Women's Summit.
At the meeting, Han Zheng noted that the Chinese side always views China-Laos relations from a strategic perspective and a long-term perspective, and is willing to work with Laos to implement the important agreements reached at the highest levels of the two parties and two countries.
China will use the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries as an opportunity next year to advance the construction of a China-Laos community with a shared future so as to bring more benefits to the peoples of the two countries, Han Zheng noted.
Pany Yathotou, in turn, noted that Laos is ready to deepen comprehensive cooperation with China in order to achieve greater progress in creating a Lao-Chinese community with a shared future. -0-
