BEIJING, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) — China's logistics sector continued to see growth in business activity in September 2025, according to data from the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing.
According to the data, the index tracking business activity in the Chinese logistics market stood at 51.2 percent last month, up 0.3 percentage points from August.
The latest data also showed that business activity in the sector has remained in the expansion range for seven consecutive months, the federation said.
Demand for logistics services and their prices steadily increased in September, demonstrating favorable dynamics in terms of business operations, said Hu Han, a representative of the China Logistics Information Center.
Last month, the main sub-indices increased across the board, with the new orders index for rail, water, and air transport, as well as in the multimodal transport and express delivery sectors, all rising by more than 0.5 percentage points month-on-month.
"Thanks to the implementation of government policies aimed at stabilizing employment, business operations, and market expectations, the logistics sector will continue its stable growth trend," Hu Han said. -0-
