Prague, Oct. 9 (Xinhua) — Andrej Babiš, leader of the opposition movement "Action of Dissatisfied Citizens" (ANO), which won the Czech Republic's parliamentary elections in early October, held a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Thursday.
In his social media post, X. A. Babiš expressed support for Ukraine and hope for a speedy end to the conflict. The two leaders agreed to a possible in-person meeting next year in Ukraine.
V. Zelenskyy, also publishing a message on X, congratulated A. Babiš on his election victory and emphasized that Ukraine values its relations with the Czech Republic. –0–
