Rosneft has opened a Research and Development Center at the Institute of Oil and Gas of the Siberian Federal University. The center will help attract young scientists to participate in research and development projects addressing pressing issues in the oil and gas industry.
These tasks include mathematical and numerical modeling of complex, non-standard process equipment, chemical engineering processes, and research in new technologies. Successful participation by university undergraduate and graduate students in the Center's projects offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and knowledge in modern technologies, as well as to find engineering jobs at Rosneft enterprises while still studying at the university.
The opening of the Research and Development Center was initiated by a corporate research and design institute in Krasnoyarsk, whose specialists are already working with students from the SFU Institute of Oil and Gas. Young scientists, under the guidance of Rosneft experts, are winning international student engineering competitions and IT championships in the oil and gas industry.
