The 9th Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurial Culture Festival has concluded in Moscow. For a full week, residents and visitors to the capital participated in online and offline events, asked questions of experts, and discussed how to improve their personal well-being and secure their savings.
"Almost 600,000 people took part in the festival. We organized educational events for them at more than 230 venues across the city. The main result is a confirmation of Muscovites' high interest in financial literacy. We see that people no longer want to simply acquire such knowledge occasionally. They are striving to build their own personal finance management strategy—from everyday purchases to achieving major financial goals and starting their own business. Moscow is creating all the opportunities for this," she emphasized.
Elena Zyabbarova, Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the capital's Department of Finance.

The event included a "Children and Money" day, where young Muscovites participated in master classes, quizzes, and animated lectures at city libraries. Under the motto "Own Your Own Business. Mission Possible," the festival's entrepreneurship day was held at the Yuzhny River Terminal. At the master class "Franchising in Action: What Entrepreneurs Need to Consider," residents learned how to choose a franchise, attract investment, and ensure business profitability. Participants learned how to develop a sound sales strategy, determine product range, and promote them on popular platforms.
The capital's financial education system traditionally places special emphasis on the older generation. Moscow's longevity centers organized a special program, focusing on financial security, combating online fraud, and protecting the rights of financial consumers. The day concluded with a lecture at the Moskino chain's Salut cinema, titled "Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears: Film Lessons in Financial Literacy." Experts and the audience watched excerpts from the film, discussing the financial behavior of the film's characters, their life priorities, and ways to overcome challenges.
The 9th City Festival of Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurial Culture concluded with a vibrant carnival of generations held at the VEB Center. Guests enjoyed a multi-format venue where everyone could find something to enjoy. Participants enjoyed lectures, workshops, a film screening, and a humorous monologue about finance.
