In the first half of 2025, the volume of city-supported food exports increased by 94 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 5.8 billion rubles. The main export destinations were China and the CIS countries.

The capital provides support to exporters Moscow Export Center (MEC), which provides more than 30 measures to stimulate the entry of Moscow companies into the international market, including assistance in promoting Moscow companies at major industry exhibitions under the unified Made in Moscow brand.
For example, a confectionery factory, with the support of the International Economic Center, signed an export contract with an Indian company in June of this year for the supply of multigrain candies.
Moscow's canned goods are also in demand abroad. For example, following its participation at the Made in Moscow stand at the SIAL 2025 international exhibition in China, one company signed major contracts to supply products to Chinese partners.
Another company that roasts and blends Arabica and Robusta coffee beans and ground coffee, with the support of the International Export Center (IEC), presented its products at the UzProdExpo international food products exhibition, where it signed a contract to supply coffee to China.
Since the beginning of 2025, the Moscow Export Center's Made in Moscow exhibition stands will be on display at three major international food exhibitions: Gulfood 2025 in the United Arab Emirates, SIAL 2025 in China, and Vietfood.
Moscow Export Center Created by the Moscow Government in 2017 to provide financial and non-financial support to city entrepreneurs to promote Moscow goods and services in foreign markets. It is overseen by the Moscow Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development.
One of the MEC's main goals is to increase the number of Moscow exporters and their export revenues. Today, the center provides comprehensive support to Moscow businesses at all stages of the export journey—from preparing companies and training them in foreign economic activity (FEA) to promoting their businesses abroad, sales support, and financial incentives for FEA after the conclusion of export contracts. The MEC's current toolkit includes over 30 support measures.
