The city has put the rights to conclude agreements on the implementation up for auction five large-scale investment projects. The auction winners will be able to build public and business complexes on the allocated plots. This was announced by the head of the Moscow Department of Competition Policy. Kirill Purtov.
"Business representatives have the opportunity to contribute to the development of a major administrative and business cluster in Kommunarka. The city will award investors, through a tender process, the right to enter into agreements for the implementation of large-scale investment projects, five plots with a total area of almost 4.9 hectares for the construction of public complexes, which could include office space, bank branches, cafes, restaurants, shops, and other commercial facilities. The deadline for bidding will be October 29 to November 26. Auctions will be held from November 7 to December 5," noted Kirill Purtov.
The starting price for each lot is one ruble, with auction increments of 100,000 rubles. The plots range in size from 0.6 to 1.7 hectares. Buildings ranging from 89,000 to 174,800 square meters can be constructed on them.
"Holding auctions for the right to conclude agreements to implement large-scale investment projects will allow the winners to subsequently sign lease agreements with the city for the construction of public and business facilities in Kommunarka. This mechanism provides an opportunity to expand the pool of potential investors to form a major administrative and business cluster in the area, which will become a magnet for businesses and residents. Previously, the city awarded entrepreneurs almost 1.4 hectares of land between Kaluga Highway and Mechnikov Boulevard through auctions for the construction of two multifunctional complexes with a total area of over 86,000 square meters," she explained.

Legal entities with experience constructing capital construction projects with an area of at least 100,000 square meters over the previous five calendar years are eligible to participate in the auction. Entrepreneurs are also required to confirm receipt of total revenue equal to at least 10 percent of the planned investment volume specified in the auction notice. To participate in the online auction, you will need to register on the Roseltorg online platform and have an enhanced, qualified electronic signature.
