Minsk, October 8 (Xinhua) — The BTI-2025 International Light Industry Wholesale Trade Fair opened in the Belarusian capital on Wednesday. More than 70 exhibitors from Belarus, Russia, China, and Uzbekistan are showcasing their products. The relevant information was published by BelTA.

The exhibition's main theme is "Dialogue between Business and Fashion." As Tatyana Lugina, head of the Belarusian concern Bellegprom, noted at the opening ceremony, Belarusian products are widely represented across various product lines.

"We tried to reflect two themes: preserving traditions and cherishing cultural heritage, and implementing modern technologies and using new fabrics. Belarus's light industry clearly understands its place in this highly competitive world and keeps up with the times," emphasized T. Lugina.

The opening ceremony showcased a unique collection of linen garments with Torzhok gold embroidery, titled "Ray of Golden Sunshine," a collaboration between Belarusian and Russian brands. Guests were also able to see other new products from Belarusian manufacturers.

The BTI-2025 exhibition is taking place in Minsk from October 8th to 10th. The business program includes specialized seminars, business meetings with executives from leading companies and trade representatives, company presentations, and fashion and footwear collection shows. The event is organized by the National Exhibition Center "BelExpo" and the "Bellegprom" concern.
