Kabul, October 7 (Xinhua) — At least 15 passengers were injured when a minibus plunged into a ravine in Kapisa Province in eastern Afghanistan on Tuesday, some of them in critical condition, provincial police spokesman Abdul Fattah Faiz said.

According to him, the accident occurred in the Alasai area and was caused by careless driving.

All injured passengers were taken to the nearest hospital, he added.

As a reminder, similar incidents that occurred in Daikundi Province in central Afghanistan and Balkh Province in the north of the country on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, left one person dead and 10 others injured. –0–
