Almaty, October 7 (Xinhua) — Kazakhstan will increase oil supplies to Germany to 130,000 tons per month in 2026, the press service of Kazakhstan's national oil and gas company, KazMunayGas (KMG), announced on Tuesday.
Following negotiations between KMG Chairman of the Management Board Askhat Khasenov and Rosneft Deutschland GmbH CEO Johannes Bremer, the current agreement for the supply of Kazakh oil to Germany was extended until the end of 2026. The agreement provides for an increase in monthly oil supplies from the Karachaganak field operator from 100,000 to 130,000 tons.
Earlier, KMG announced that Kazakhstan plans to ship 1.5 million tons of oil to Germany via the Druzhba pipeline in 2025. –0–
