Almaty, October 6 (Xinhua) — Turkmenistan's GDP growth in the first nine months of 2025 amounted to 6.3 percent, the country's International Information Center reported on Monday.

According to a report by Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan Khodjamyrat Geldimyradov, in January-September of this year, the volume of production increased by 10 percent.

In particular, industry grew by 1.8 percent, agriculture by 5 percent. Growth in construction was 7 percent, in the transport and communications sector – 10.8 percent, trade – 9.6 percent, and the service sector – 8.4 percent.

During the specified period, retail turnover increased by 13.2 percent, and foreign trade turnover by 8.5 percent.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the average salary at large and medium-sized enterprises increased by 11.8 percent compared to the same period last year. –0–
