Rosneft held a series of corporate runs, "Energy of Life," in Moscow, Irkutsk, and Ryazan. Around 1,000 people took part in the track and field competitions. Both Company employees and their family members participated.
Participants competed in 2.5 km, 5 km, and 10 km races in age categories ranging from 18 to 64 years old. Children's races were held on 500 m and 2.5 km courses. The running routes passed through the city's forest parks. Over 400 winners in various age categories were recognized following the competition.
The track and field races attracted a large crowd of fans who cheered on the oil industry athletes. A field kitchen was set up at the sports festival, where everyone could warm up with hot tea and pastries or snack on soldier's porridge. Entertainment areas were organized for the young athletes, where they participated in various sports competitions. A concert by creative groups was held for all guests.
Supporting mass and professional sports, as well as healthy lifestyles, is one of Rosneft's key social work priorities. In the regions where it operates, the Company builds multifunctional sports complexes and venues, ice arenas, and hosts mass sporting events for children and adults.
As part of the corporate sports and fitness movement "Energy of Life," Rosneft employees regularly engage in sports and compete in various disciplines. More than 127,000 Company employees participate in the movement.
