Beijing, October 5 (Xinhua) — On September 29, flight HT3857, carrying 62 cultural relics from the Tianjin Museum of China, departed Wusu International Airport in Taiyuan, northern China, bound for Almaty, Kazakhstan. These ancient artifacts will be displayed in Kazakhstan at an exhibition of ancient Chinese crafts and cultural relics, according to a statement posted on the official website of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China.

The exhibition will last for more than three months and will showcase the outstanding traditional Chinese culture and its artistic features through exquisite cultural relics such as jade, porcelain, sculpture, calligraphy, painting, and paper cutting.

According to the customs service at the aforementioned airport, the goods temporarily exported from the country are high-value, and customs clearance times are tight. To ensure the smooth export of the exhibits, customs has established a dedicated team, providing 24/7 advisory services and maintaining close liaison with the relevant organizations.

Since the launch of the China Tourism Year in Kazakhstan on June 16, 2025, the customs office at Taiyuan Wusu International Airport has provided high-quality services for the export of cultural relics and works of art intended for exhibitions from Kazakhstan to Kazakhstan via air transport on the Taiyuan-Almaty route, contributing to the development of Sino-Kazakh cooperation in trade, economic and humanitarian spheres, as well as promoting exchanges and mutual learning between civilizations of countries participating in the joint construction of the Belt and Road. -0-
