Tehran, October 3 (Xinhua) — The Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement between Tehran and Moscow entered into force on Thursday, the Iranian Foreign Ministry announced.
The agreement was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Iranian counterpart, Masoud Pezeshkian, in Moscow on January 17. The Islamic Republic's Foreign Ministry stated that the agreement demonstrates the leaders' determination to deepen and strengthen bilateral relations.
The ministry noted that the agreement marked a turning point in the history of Iranian-Russian relations and marked an increase in the level of friendly ties in various areas of mutual interest.
