Tashkent, October 2 (Xinhua) – Uzbekistan exported $6.9 million worth of pepper in the first eight months of this year, local media reported Wednesday, citing the National Statistics Committee.
“According to preliminary data from the National Statistics Committee, in January-August 2025, Uzbekistan exported 8,800 tons of pepper to 16 foreign countries worth $6.9 million,” the report says.
The largest export volume came from Kazakhstan, with 4,700 tons. Next came Kyrgyzstan, with 1,900 tons, and Spain, with 1,100 tons. –0–
