As part of Moscow Museum Week, the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve invites you to the exhibition "The Mystery of Passing Time."
The exhibition at the Palace of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich brings together more than 800 objects from the 17th–19th centuries from the collections of the museum-reserve, the V.A. Tropinin Museum, and the Cosmonautics Museum. Visitors will be able to learn about the history of watchmaking and discover how scientists, craftsmen, and artists of different eras created not just mechanisms, but true works of art that embodied philosophical and scientific understandings of time.
