A new themed train dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the popular sports channel has arrived on the Sokolnicheskaya Line. Passengers will be able to learn about the channel's history, its hosts, and famous athletes.
"In honor of the 10th anniversary of the federal sports channel Match TV, we launched a new themed train. Its design showcases legendary athletes and the most popular sports. At the behest of Sergei Sobyanin, we're making the city's transportation system convenient, modern, and engaging. All this allows Muscovites and visitors to the capital to learn new things even while traveling," noted the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
The train consists of five carriages dedicated to various disciplines: football, hockey, winter and water sports, and gymnastics. Passengers will learn about the rules and history of these disciplines, learn about legendary athletes, and reminisce about the spectacular victories broadcast on the channel. The names of the stations on the themed train are announced by commentators Konstantin Genich and Olga Bogoslovskaya.
Moscow Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure DevelopmentLaunched a themed train in collaboration with the TV channel. It will run on the Sokolnicheskaya metro line for six months.
