Tashkent, September 30 (Xinhua) – 94.2 percent of Uzbekistan's population uses the internet, the country's National Statistics Committee reported on Monday.
“According to a sample household survey conducted by the National Statistics Committee, in January–August 2025, the share of Uzbekistan’s population using the internet was 94.2 percent,” the report states.
In 2021, this figure was 76.6 percent.
Let us recall that, according to the forecast of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the economy of Uzbekistan will grow by 6.7 percent in 2025. –0–
