Hanoi, September 30 (Xinhua) — The death toll from Typhoon Bualoi and subsequent floods in Vietnam has risen to 19, with another 88 injured, the Vietnam News Agency reported on Tuesday.
According to him, 13 people are listed as missing, and another eight people are still out of contact.
It is noted that more than 105 thousand houses were damaged.
Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Trinh instructed local authorities and agencies to take urgent measures to support affected residents and mitigate the typhoon's aftermath. He also ordered repairs to damaged educational and healthcare facilities by October 5.
