The cumulative production of Udmurtneft (part of the oil production complex of NK Rosneft) has reached 340 million tons of oil since the beginning of production activities in 1967.

Achieving this figure was made possible by the coordinated work of the company's team, the introduction of new production capacity, and the use of advanced technologies. Udmurtneft operates 36 fields across 70 license areas. The company is the largest oil producer in the Udmurt Republic, accounting for 60% of the region's annual production.

During 2024, the company's production well stock was expanded by 78 new wells, including at its young asset, the Yuzhno-Sharkanskoye field. Multilateral drilling, which has proven highly effective at fields in the region, is being used in their construction. Multilateral wells are constructed in complex "Fishbone" and "Dovetail" configurations. Multistage hydraulic fracturing operations are being performed to enhance oil flow.

Udmurtneft continues exploration at new assets and mature fields. Recent discoveries include the Karkashurskoye field.

The company's key development objectives include digitalization of production processes, implementation of new technologies, and reduction of operating costs in oil production. To date, the company has created digital models of all its fields.

Renewable energy sources are being installed at a number of injection wells. Solar panels are used to power control equipment that transmits data using long-range network technology.

The company continues to seek innovations aimed at improving the efficiency of its production processes. Since the beginning of 2025, three pilot projects have been successfully completed, including the replication of fiberglass pump rod repair technology and corrosion protection for tank equipment. An innovative approach to reducing the cost and labor intensity of thermal insulation work at energy facilities is currently being developed. The search for technical solutions to increase well productivity also remains an important focus.
